THE FIRST OF IT'S KIND
The Winchester House is a transitional living center for former foster youth and homeless males between the ages of 18-25. The goal is to provide a safe and stable living environment for these young adults to acquire the skills necessary to live on their own.
The Winchester House focuses on six core-competencies:
- Life Skills
- Education/Training
- Job Readiness
- Health
- Documentation
- Housing
Through these competencies, the individual will learn to be more competent and self-sufficient.
